Congrats on posting!

Hey everyone — hope you’re all doing well.

I’ve recently started working with a few developers to help move forward some of my DotNetNuke goals, and so far we’ve built a couple of modules I’m pretty excited about:

Right now I’m still figuring out the best way to share these with the community — whether that’s setting up some kind of subscriber access or just releasing them for free on GitHub.

Would love to hear thoughts from others who’ve gone down this road or have opinions on what works best for the DNN ecosystem.

Looking good D0rk52!
Github sounds like the most logical place to store open source projects.
We can always like from https://dnncommunity.org/Extensions-Ecosystem# to your repos.

A storefront...That is indeed a huge thing. Payment providers, shipping providers, taxes, tax exempt...it is a rabbit hole to get that right :-)

But if you want a wishlist....

  1. We could use some extra hands on the issues logged on https://github.com/EasyDNNsolutions/DNNTokens :-)
  2. I would very much appreciate a way to manage all things we can/should put in the head of a page (or site). If I want to add twitter cards, og-tags, JSON for AI, verifcation codes for analytics, script tags for Siteimprove etc etc. it gets messy. In an ideal world, you could add a record to the head and the record has a name and a value. Editting or deleting would be with a dropdown. If interested, I can make a wireframe / mockup for you. This would be a persona bar extension or addition.
  3. Notifcations on page level: you can set a date, an email address and a comment (like 'new law, check content').
  4. Notes on page level, just for back end (like 'included job opening iframe is from HR)
  5. LLMs.txt on portal level, editable like the robots.txt in the config manager

Disclaimer: ATM some people are working on the new DNN. The moment that gets out, all modules need rework :-)

The Next one Ill havepublished soon is;
Proposed DNN Module: HTML-Driven Slider

Core Idea

Instead of a playlist or structured slide fields, each slide is powered by the native DNN HTML editor.

  • Each row/item = one slide

  • The slide content is pure HTML (anything you can build in the editor)

  • No restrictions on layout, positioning, embeds, or markup

Think of it as:

“A slider that animates HTML panes instead of predefined slide templates.”
