Hey everyone — hope you’re all doing well.
I’ve recently started working with a few developers to help move forward some of my DotNetNuke goals, and so far we’ve built a couple of modules I’m pretty excited about:
Twitch Module https://twitch.azmanagedi...om/DNN-Twitch-Module
Photo Gallery Module https://visualdrift.space/Visual-Archive/
Right now I’m still figuring out the best way to share these with the community — whether that’s setting up some kind of subscriber access or just releasing them for free on GitHub.
Would love to hear thoughts from others who’ve gone down this road or have opinions on what works best for the DNN ecosystem.
Looking good D0rk52! Github sounds like the most logical place to store open source projects. We can always like from https://dnncommunity.org/Extensions-Ecosystem# to your repos.
A storefront...That is indeed a huge thing. Payment providers, shipping providers, taxes, tax exempt...it is a rabbit hole to get that right :-)
But if you want a wishlist....
Disclaimer: ATM some people are working on the new DNN. The moment that gets out, all modules need rework :-)
Heres another one we have been working on; https://dev.azmanagedit.com/Test_Gallery
The tabs module we build looks like this; the media button allows you to attach media it also does categories. im having him setup so we can move the tabs around and select different themes its gettin there. https://dev.azmanagedit.com/Test
The Next one Ill havepublished soon is; Proposed DNN Module: HTML-Driven Slider
Instead of a playlist or structured slide fields, each slide is powered by the native DNN HTML editor.
Each row/item = one slide
The slide content is pure HTML (anything you can build in the editor)
No restrictions on layout, positioning, embeds, or markup
Think of it as:
“A slider that animates HTML panes instead of predefined slide templates.”
