Hi - I'm running DNN 9.3.2, with CK Editor 2.1.17 - I see that there are newer versions of CK Editor (up to v5) . Which version should I be running with DNN 9.3.2?

And where is the best place to get info about CK Editor (bugs, etc) ?

    Thanks

    -Tom

CK Editor 2.1.17 is the version of the provider. As far as I know CK Editor in that package is at v4 level and because of the architectural changes in CK editor v4 I don't think you can just copy that version into the provider on DNN. AFAIK there is no DNN CK Editor provider with CK Editor v5.

Thanks Mariette for the information -

OK - It sounds like I didnt really understand the difference between the Provider and the Editor itself.

I am running DNN 9.3.2 and CK Editor Provider 2.1.3 was installed already. I then upgraded to CKEditor 2.1.17 which fixed an issue with the editor. It seems to be working fine.

When I look in the "Informations" tab in the Provider settings, I don't see the version of the Editor, just the Provider. Do you know how to find out what version of the CK Editor is running?

Anyway, it is working fine, I just wanted to learn about what versions of the Editor (or Provider) are best to use in DNN. I am planning to upgrade soon to Dnn 9.4 and onward.

Thanks again for any insight you can provide. I appreciate it!

        Tom
