Hi everyone, anyone that can help with steps on how to do it or knows of a smart module that can do the job?

The task: How to integrate Linckedin Social Login on a DNN website, so users can sign in with their Linkedin account and when signing giving some information from Linkedin.

Best regards

Benjamin,

LinkedIn is a rarely used authentication provider, and I am not sure if there is a solid solution around for DNN. What I found is that it uses OAuth, and I found a Blog post from some years ago here: https://www.dnnsoftware.c...nal-oauth-providers, but LinkedIn is missing.

Obviously, someone tried to publish one on GitHub (see https://github.com/otemnov/DNNAuth.LinkedIn), but there is no release. Maybe you can contact the author and ask him about the project... Maybe it is still alive.

Happy DNNing!
Michael

Hi no9be,

I'm a leader of the 'Auth0 Provider' project that Timo mention. I just tested it with LinkedIn and seems that this is working (at lest on my sandbox :)
If you will have any questions about integrating DNN with LinkedIn, please feel free to ask.

Cheers,
Barry
