Did you check if there is an HTML error on the page? Those can cause these kind of issues too..

Checked for HTML error also, nothing such error found. Seems that by defualt DNN doesn't support multiple dig article modules in same row.

Can you add this to your CSS and see it it helps?

It hides the title lable for dig article, however does't make any helpful impact for showing controls for second dig article module in same row.
