Application Started runs constantly

    Hello good day


    Approximately 2 months ago a client's site suffers from constant restarts in the application, this makes the site stop loading for a few seconds, we have reviewed various configurations and characteristics of the server and the database, however we have not been able to find any solution .


    Has anyone had this same problem or know of a possible solution?


    The characteristics of the site are:

    *EVOQ CONTENT - v. 09.06.01

    *.NET FRAMEWORK - 4.8

      There could be many causes - remember to check IIS settings for the application pool, particularly advanced settings for recycling the pool. Have there been any new installs or updates to extensions or custom modules 2 months ago?

        Hi James, thanks for replying.


        We did not detect any possible change, update or installation in the CMS or in the server on the date that we began to notice the failure, simply from one moment to another the site began to slow down and restart many times.


        If we were able to detect that the site presents failures whenever there are administrator users making changes from the CMS, the days that there is no work or administrator users are not logged in, the "Application Started" record does not appear in the logs or appears very rarely.

          Could you find anything in the Windows Application logs, or in the log4net logs (normally in /Portals/_default/Logs/, but you might want to check the configuration in /config/DotNetNuke.log4net.config)?

          Beside of the fact that I have no idea what could be causing this: Have you tried to contact Evoq support? You're paying for that...
