You are an engaged reader!

In the log of some DNN website we see a lot of 404 errors cased by bots visiting the website: semrush, MJ12, etc
I know you can block (disallow) a bot in the robots.txt but I hoped there's a better way?

Is there an option within DNN security?

What can we do?

Disallow is the better way.
Some use cloudflare as their preferred method.
Some use intrusion prevention and/or firewalls.

But it is not a job for DNN security.
