Congrats, your posts are really liked!

I can't manage to disable composite files feature in the DNN website, the layout looks all mess up and I can't navigate through the options. I can't add an email account to the SMTP option or anything else, the layout doesn't respond. Does anyone know how to manually disable composite files from web.config? I already have a backup but I don't know where to start.

Please check the screenshot in the following URL: https://we.tl/t-kHVe1KCHZi

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Hi Marco,

I sent you an email with a piece of code for the webconfig. The code would not display here, that's why I mailed.

Cheers

Hi Tycho, thanks for your message. Can you re-send me the email at [email protected] since I never got it.

Hi Tycho,

I also have problems with layout when I select composite files. I thought I had it sorted prior to the Managed incident but it seels to have reappeared now all my sites are at 9.8.0.

Is this the same issue?

Hard to tell. For instance, I know that currently the Plant an app modules are not playing nicely with composite files either. But you are still able to deactivate the setting in the persona bar?

No, as that is not displayed correctly. I have to edit the database directly.
