File Manager very slow

Hi, I am running sites on v9.11.1, and when adding files to the site via a link in the Editor, the performance is very very slow.

Is this a known issue or am I missing some area of optimisation?

On this version you get the new resource manager, and from my experience with this it's really fast.

Does it get slow at a very specific task or with anything you do with it?

Maybe do you have another website with the same version and the same problem? or its just this one website?

If the problem persist I recommend you logging a issue at https://github.com/dnnsof.../Dnn.Platform/issues

The new file management extension is quite fast in my experience as well - in all of our hosting environments, and even behind a firewall.

Do you happen to have an antivirus program on your server that might be getting in the way?  I'd also suggest using the web developers tools to inspect the requests and responses to see if there are more clues to determine where/how to troubleshoot this further.

Simon, are you talking about within the CK Editor or within the new Resource Manager?

it is always advisable not having too many files located in the portal root, especially if using auto file sync, which e.g. scans images for dimensions.
