    Hey all,

New to DNN here, but trying to diagnose an issue in our production environment.  I'll give you the long of the short, if any more detail is needed to help, or if anyone has seen similar, please let me know.

Basic setup:  6 IIS nodes, utilizing one webshare as the root folder.  The issue that is occurring is when a temp file is being created in part of the root/_imagecache/, it is causing an exception (System.IO.InternalBufferOverflowException: Too many changes at once in directory: (imagecache directory and temp file)).  This is causing IIS to cycle itself, and downtime alerts to be generated.

On a second prong, wondering if anyone else has issues with a similar setup (multiple IIS nodes sharing a directory) and logging files being locked / causing issues when using the rolling log appender.  If anyone has a good solution to this sort of issue, other than turning logging down (from info) or to not using the rolling appender (in which there would be thousands of files a day), I'm all ears.

    Thanks guys!

I haven't personally dealt with a web farm in a while now.  We mostly use Azure services these days.  Have you tried looking through some of the advice in the forum thread below?
