UPgrading from 6.0 Started By Tim Maxey So we are upgrading site and came across interesting problem. We have a 6.01 version we are using upgrade path upgrades. Going to 6.4 then 7 to 8 to 9 etc etc. So far other version 7 sites upgrade fine, the version 6 sites as stated above fails. PLEASE NOTE: We CAN navigate to the site before moving upgrade files over and login as host, move around see the site etc, meaning the web.config database connectionstring is working. dnndev.me woes Started By PlsWork Hi All, This is my first attempt at setting up a DNN instance. My setup is a Windows 10 VM with IIS etc. installed. Everything is working fine if I access the instance via dnndev.me but if I try to access the instance any other way (e.g. 127.0.0.1, localhost) or (more importantly) from my host that is running the VM via IP address (I have check to ensure the host & guest VM can communcate) I receive a 404 error. Write locked files filter when backing up Started By Deleted User Hi we have a portal backing up fine until recently. Install Fun Started By Jeffwest1 I am new to DNN, I have to look at seeing if I can upgrade our current system based on a version7 Dotbetnuke, to a newer version DNN. Repair DNN 9.2 Started By MedoDNN I have a DNN 9.2 that has been on a shared hosting platform for a while. The platform was hacked with ransomware and files were encrpyted, including backups. The hosting company has been able to recover most of the files. Checking folders and files found a some files that were not fixed and I was able replace them from installation files i.e. image files etc. From turning on Detail Error, I was able to identify most files with error and they have been corrected. Splash Page between two portals Started By JordanM Hi All, I have two websites, different brands but same company. example1.com & example2.com. When directed to either example1.com or example2.com for them both to have a splash page. giving the user the option to select which site they would like to visit.
