I was very dubious about the (major) upgrade -- sweaty palms all around -- and I waiting until after the 10.01 release. I have to say wow worked like a charm.

OF COURSE FIRST:

Made a complete backup of all files and the Database.

I used a staging server to upgrade and saw a few problems - a small Theme issue and the E Commerce suite is no loner supported. Easy to fix.

Checked ALL my extensions and they seem to be OK. Using Xmod Pro, 2sxyc, dnn Media etc. Added one from the Git repo (Iframe) and it works great.

Warned my folks that there would be an upgrade and their sites may be down for a short while -- turned out it was less than fifteen minutes -- nobody noticed.

Rocking with the new version.

The leap up from DNN 9.13.09 or 9.13.10 to v10 should go a LOT smoother for most people now that we have DNN v10.02.04. You can read more here.
