Perhaps I am dense, but where in the world do you find what the latest version is and where to download it?

Thanks Joe.  It would be great if there were a "Download Here" somewhere in the main nav bar of this site that took you to the latest version on GitHub.  Even looking at the How To menu of Download and Install, I could find no mention of WHERE the actual file were for an installation other than the NVQuicksite.  Seems like there have been a lot of changes to the DNN community lately.  I hope we can see new users come on board.

Wanted to come back to this.  Joe posted the link "https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Platform".  As someone who has used DNN for years, but I am not a developer, I am having a hard time finding what the latest version is.  When someone new to the community comes here I am afraid they will be intimidated by having to go to GitHub and hunting for what they need.  It would be great to have a pinned post of what the latest version is, and info on what the issues are with the latest version.  Also, is there information on who is managing dnncommunity.org now?  Would just be nice to have more basic info on the who, where and what.  Thanks in advance for replies.

You've pointed out, quite correctly, that we aren't doing a great job with this. Hopefully someone will fix the website soon.

As for GitHub, once you get there, click on "releases" to see the list.

Actually, 9.4.0 is the latest. I'm using 9.3.2 for my sites. I understand that there are some upgrade issues with 9.4.0 (my other note about helping with testing) so I'm not sure that I'm ready for upgrading. I may wait for 9.4.1 before doing that.

There is now a download button on https://dnncommunity.org/...Download-and-Install
There have been upgrade issues detected after the release of DNN 9.4.0 and the team is working hard on providing DNN 9.4.1 soon.

Joe,  It was not my inention at all to point out that the team is doing a bad job.  I am so APPRECIATIVE that the team is taking the time to educate the public.  I hope that I can help not criticize.  Thank you very much for listening to my feedback, and the download button is perfect.  Thanks again to the dnncommunity.org team for all you are doing.

I didn't take your remarks as anything but positive and encouraging.

The dnncommunity.org website is relatively new, and there are a myriad of kinks, missing parts, etc. So, your comments are quite helpful.

Another way to help is to make comments and suggestions regarding what's good, what's bad, what's needed, etc. on the site. The "General Discussion" forum might the the best place to send that information. The Awareness Advisory Group is a good place to focus that discussion, too.

These Forums are for the discussion of the open source CMS DNN platform and ecosystem.

For the benefit of the community and to protect the integrity of the ecosystem, please observe the following posting guidelines:

  1. If you have (suspected) security issues, please DO NOT post them in the forums but instead follow the official DNN security policy
  2. No Advertising. This includes the promotion of commercial and non-commercial products or services which are not directly related to DNN.
  3. No vendor trolling / poaching. If someone posts about a vendor issue, allow the vendor or other customers to respond. Any post that looks like trolling / poaching will be removed.
  4. Discussion or promotion of DNN Platform product releases under a different brand name are strictly prohibited.
  5. No Flaming or Trolling.
  6. No Profanity, Racism, or Prejudice.
  7. Site Moderators have the final word on approving / removing a thread or post or comment.
  8. English language posting only, please.
