I haven't tried doing it myself, but I know others have, with mixed results.

Honestly, I’m in the same boat: it’s been almost 10 years since I last built DNN stuff. DNN is still nice and easy, with tons of modules out there, but I really wish DNN Corp would give us a strong signal about moving to .NET 6+ or Core. That would bring in new devs for sure. Personally, I’d rather stick with DNN than switch to something like Umbraco.

Essentailly "DNN Corp" does not exist any more.
DNN is now fully community driven.
