Hello Team,

We are using DNN version 10.1.2, and currently the Login Page setting under
Settings → Site Settings → Site Behavior → Login Page is set to Not Specified
(so the default login module is being used).

The issue we are facing is:

When users log in from the main portal, the system correctly redirects them to the page configured under Redirect After Login in Site Settings.
However, when users attempt to log in from any sub-portal, they are not being redirected to the configured page. Instead, they are either staying on the login screen or being redirected to the home page.

This behavior appears to be a known issue in DNN 10.x related to the handling of ReturnUrl and login redirection logic when working with child portals/sub-portals.

We need assistance or guidance on how to ensure that Redirect After Login works consistently across both the main portal and all sub-portals, even when no custom login page is selected.

Please advise on recommended configuration or any fix available for DNN 10.1.2 to resolve this redirect issue.

Just to make sure I understand the situation correctly, you have your enviornment setup like the following.

Main Portal - Redirect to Page B
Child Portal 1 - Redirect to Child Portal Page C
Child Portal 2 - Redirect to CHild Portal Page Z

However, when logging in to CHild Portal 1 you are taken to the homepage of CHild Portal 1, rather than Page C?

Did you modify the cookie domain or any configurations of the login cookie?

Do your users exist in multiple portals?
