Hello there,
For DNN v9, which extensions (free or commerical) are more populare and widley used for creating forms ranging from simple to complex forms? Some forms will email information while others store info in the database.
Thanks
Joe
I could also recommend OpenForm by Sacha Trauwaen. Submissions are stored in the database, and you can send an email as well.
Anyway, if you want to have Excel export (which is offered in the admin interface) you should install OpenContent as well - a least for a while, it did not work otherwise.
And if you want to delete submissions automatically from time to time, you should read this blog article.
Happy DNNing! Michael
I am working since 2004 in DNN. I have developed a large scale & complex application in DNN. All form applications have limitations better you can design your own custom module by using VS.
I’d also suggest taking a look at MegaForm on the DNN Store. It is a modern form builder for DNN with a visual builder, multi-step forms, workflow automation, webhooks, email/database integration, payments, embeds, and reusable templates. It is currently listed as a new module on the DNN Store by DaoA, and you can see a live sample step form here: dnndefender.com/MegaForm/Training-class-sample/Sample-step-form. If you want something that feels more like a flexible self-hosted form server for DNN, MegaForm is worth a look
