HTML Module logs administrative user out when saving edits on a subsite

    Hello,

We are using DNN v9.9.1 and within the last month, we are experiencing an issue that automatically logs users with the "Administrators" role and lower out of the system when they attempt to save their changes within the HTML module (CKE Editor). We noticed that this only happens within subsites, no one experiences this issue editing in the parent site. Super users are also able to make edits to the HTML editors with no issue. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jake

      Hi Jake

Did you find any solution on this?
I´m having the same issue with my DNN 9.10.0 installation.

Could it be that a session timeout appeared? What is the value for your PersistentCookieTimeout setting (in the web.config file)? Is the user logged in with the "Remeber login" option?

Last question: Does this also happen, when you click the "Edit" button in the Persona Bar twice (so that it appears in blue)?

        Happy DNNing!

          Thanks Michael for your reply.

"What is the value for your PersistentCookieTimeout setting (in the web.config file)?"
The value is the default value 0, and if I change it to some higher value the problem is still there.

"Is the user logged in with the "Remember login" option?"
The problem is still there with both options.

"Does this also happen, when you click the "Edit" button in the Persona Bar twice (so that it appears in blue)?"
          Yes it does.
