Uninstall module when upgrading

Hi all, it is a nice feature to include extension upgrades in the DNN upgrade package (by adding the extension install package into the /install/module folder, /install/language etc.). I wonder if it is also possible to uninstall an existing module during the upgrade process. Happy DNNing! Michael

DNN C# Create Secure Folders, Set Permissions and load files

Hi, I'd like to build a custom module to manage secure files based on roles. I'd like to use DNN Secure Folder Provider but I'm no able to find any example or guide to which DNN API to use. Any help about Thanks!

Custom friendly url provider

Print dialog

In my module I'm trying to open the plain Chrome print dialog - like pressing CtrlP (unsucsessfully)! Tried: 1. 2. asp:button javascript and then assigning in codebehind:  Print.OnClientClick = 'printdlg' 3. button code on click event:  ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(Me, GetType(Page), UniqueID, 'window.print();', True) ... and nothing works. Any ideas anyone

html module

i'm upgrading an old site (DNN 5.6.8 to 6.2.8) there seems to be an issue with the HTML modules not updating properly. So i need to upgrade the HTML editor or ck editor. however, i'm struggling to find information on what editor works with each DNN installation   e.g. there is a ckeditor download here: https://ckeditor.com/docs...ev_installation.html and here: https://github.com/DNN-Co...torProvider/releases (but no info on compatibility are rarely an install file)

Reservation module crashed after upgrade

we have a Reservation module that has recently stopped working after we upgraded to DNN 9.6.1 I've checked the log files and get this error:    I was wondering if there was a way of fixing this error above or if it's best to start again and purchase a new reservation module

Cross portal page (tab) full url

Hi all, I am having trouble trying to get tabs urls. Here is my scenario: I have a main portal (id 0) that has a home page (tabid 20). My dev environment has this portal mapped to 'http://dnndev.me'. There is a second portal named Finance thas is configured to be a subdirectory, so this portal is responding on 'http://dnndev.me/finance' Now I am running code in the finance portal and want to get the url to the homepage of the portal 0. Version conflict Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Client

Hellow together, I am recently developing some modules. One problem I meet now is the version conflict of 'Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Client', In latest DotNetNuke 9.6.2 many projects (DotNetNuke.Web, Dnn.PersonalBar and etc.) reference this assembly of version 5.2.3. But in my project I used a cloud service, which referenced the same assembly of version 5.2.4. I can build my project successfully but got the waring of assembly version conflict in visual studio. ck Editor Issue

I had developed a module that used the default texteditor control. This module is working fine in DNN 9.2.1. I moved a copy of this module to an instance setup on 9.6.1. On this version the Text Editor loads but the actual HTML Editor box does not. I can see the Change Mode options but the Rich Text Box is not visible.
