You are an engaged reader!

During a Demo I showed how to place an existing  module.
I noticed a client had a hard time understanding what "make a copy" meant.
While it might be clear to us, this particular client expected "a copy to stay the same".
Also when you uncheck that checkbox one could ask "what option is that".
In page management, when Duplicating a page you get he "new - copy - reference" options.
IMO these options should be the same?

May be we could change this to a dropdown with options and a pop-up help text instead of a checkbox?

Another thought I had is this:

DNN uses the paradigm of editing content where the content is located.
(which I really like)
But not when it’s about placing existing modules.
I seems logical to add a "copy / reference" option in the module settings?
So under Module Settings > Page Settings > Advanced settings > Move to page

Add an option to Copy / Add a reference to another page?

Thoughts?

Yeah, even when I've had this discussion during DNN training sessions, it usually requires a demo for new DNN people to really "get it." A usability update would be a great way to prevent this kind of confusion.

I would prefer a downdown as it's more compact.
