Remove "social"pages

I never found a real use for the pages 'Activity feed'; 'Friends' or 'Messages'. Does anyone know if I can I delete those pages from a site without crashing the site

Cannot login

If I try to login at dnnsoftware.com, I get the following message 'Login Failed. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive.'. The 'old' link to www.databasemart.com to clear DotNetNuke_Event_Logs is no longer active. On the 'new' page of www.dnnsoftware.com the old Login doesn't work. My attempt to reset the password failed. I did not get an e-mail with a link to set the new password (like announced). How can I get out of this deadlock

DNN Captcha

The DNN Captcha is not working for us in production on the Retrieve Password page in IE11.  Our production site has an SSL Certificate.  On test with the same exact code, and with no SSL certificate, it works.  On the Security page, we have already enabled SSL for the site.

Password Reset email

My website is set to use secure https but when I use the passwrod reset the email I get comes as http and does not work properly. Any ideas what I'm missing why this is coming over as http and not https. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You Mike

Getting issue related to non existing child page

Getting issue related to page: If we hit invalid page(not existing) in browser through parent page like: /Article/1234124 Then it alway redirect to article page. Is there any setting in dnn to point this page to 404 page  Thanks in advance

User registration/creation

My end process is that I need a way to allow a registered user(employee) to create user accounts without giving this person full admin access. My initial thought was I would use the DNN registration page as a stand alone page and allow this person(s) the rights to see this page so they could create the sccounts from there. Unfortunately I don't see a way to create a page with this control on it. Is there a way I can accomplish my end process either by using the registration page or any other ...

Page layout reverts on its own.

We are facing this issue in production enviroment only, while the page is in edit mode it reverts back to it's default settings, page layout as well as modules added do not show up. But once out of edit mode both new layout and modules show up. i have checked error logs and no errors were recorded under there. Any suggestions

DNN 9.2.2.178 My site is hosted and everything is working within the site when I visit the site by the url www.xyz.com/default.aspx but when i try to access the site by just www.xyz.com it does not take me to the page specified in the home page setting of the site setting but rather results in multiple redirects with 301.  What am I missing I tried to trun on iis failure tracking but that is also giving some issues because of the encryption Exception information:      Exception type: Con...

SQL for cleanup auto page redirects?

DNN932: If you rename a page, a redirect is generated. Useful, but not during development of a site where page names are changed frequently. I want to remove all the page redirects just before putting the site live. Does anybody have an SQL statement that I can use to do the cleanup in one go

Migrating 4k pages

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out the best way to migrate 4000 DNN pages from one server to another. The main issue is that we want to go from 140 portals down to 5 or 6. So, has anyone tried migrating multiple portals into one portal with the import/export feature I can kind of do it by importing one portal, moving the pages under a parent page, and then importing another portal. But, some of the content and child pages are not getting imported. I am exporting from Evoq Content 9.2.2 and ...
