I'm on DNN 9.01.01 and need to change the path where the editor saves image uploads. I added a terabyte of space to the server and configured it as a folder at \storage\ so I'll have plenty of room for a long time, especially since I'm integrating a user forum.  Unable to get to the editor settings through Site settings > behavior > more > Open HTML Editor Manager but I can get to the settings via the link below the editor when I'm on as admin.  I see File Browser Settings but nowhere to define this new folder as the default upload path (along with /users and such).  I have a table called CKE_Settings but it's empty. Right now all uploads are within one of the portal folders.  Where can I find the setting for that?

Did you try " Browser Root Folder:" under File Browser in the editor options?

2 notes:

A. The Editor Config screen issue is a known issue, the link under the editor takes you to the same screen though.

B. Make sure you upgrade  to the latest DNN 9 ASAP as there have been a few important security fixes since 9.1
