I am using dnn9.8.1 and the problem I have is how to make the url more friendly?

my url: http://dnndev.me/news/id/...ot-website-chuan-seo
url friendly: http://dnndev.me/news/the...ot-website-chuan-seo

Or http://dnndev.me/the-nao-...ot-website-chuan-seo
The page to redirect to http://dnndev.me/news

Thank you so much

Congrats on posting!

Are you using something like EasyDNNNews or Live Articles? If so, you can install the url provider that comes with the module. This takes care of the rewriting stuff.

Module I am developing, I have just updated to dnn 9.
Before that I used dnn 6 and I had to set it up in the siteurl.config file

If you poke around on github, you will find some examples of url providers for DNN. I found 2:
-https://github.com/jaxuk/...l-Extension-Provider
-https://github.com/IowaCo...sArticlesUrlProvider

I think that this blog post from Bruce Chapman is a good starting point: -https://www.dnnsoftware.c...ension-url-providers

The provider that Mitch Sellers posted in an update of that.

As this discussion will be here "forever" ... it might be helpful to future readers if you could briefly describe what you did to solve the problem.

Thanks.
