DNN Login doesn't respond!

Hi all,

I am unable to login to my 08.00.04 DNN site, no matter what credentials I try. Login control doesn't respond and I get a message in Chrome Console that says

"Uncaught Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned by the server was: 500

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

what changes have been made lately to the website or webserver configuration / software?

There have been no changes for the last 3 weeks.

there should have been at least Windows security upgrades installed.
due to known risks, the server admin might has as well blocked use of Telerik components.
Are you running Telerik from local server or a CDN?

How do I find out if I run Telerik from local server or a CDN?

By the way, I also have 3 more 08.00.04 sites that I haven't upgraded yet, and they work just fine. So this is very strange.
