Timo: Yes, rights are also set in CKeditor.

Will: Yes I think that sums it up correctly but the users page editing rights are working as expected. Thanks in advance but will have to pick this up tomorrow.

Okay... New question. In these new portals (1, 2, 3, etc.), are they parent or child portals? Just in case you're not aware of the difference, a parent portal will have its own domain name, whereas a child portal will have the same domain name as the original website.

Will: Thank you for your time and patience. They are child portals of the same domain as Site ID 0. ie:

https://AppDomain.Site0.co.uk      and      https://AppDomain.site0.co.uk/Site1

Have we misunderstood something, does this not allow separation of logins and folder security on each site? As I say the page edit permissions work as expected, it's just when a user login attempts an upload that doesn't work.

Ah... I think this may be a bug in child sites (portals).  I just tried this and received a JS-based permissions error message after trying to upload an image to a newly created folder (using a test user with appropriate permissions).

Thanks Will, aty least glad it's not just me.

Guess we just need to work around it and wait for a bigfix then?

@ShootsUsir:  Yes, but only if someone raises the issue, as Olly suggested.  ^^^  :)
