Hi Nukers,

Using DNN 9.2.2

Is there a simple way to hide a HTML module?  I just want to "turn it off" for a period of time.  Hide it.  I don't want to adjust the security/permission settings, because I want to display it again soon.

Is there a way to hide a module without changing all of the viewing permissions?  I thought this was an option in previous version of DNN.

You're an MVP!

You might set a (past) end date (in the module settings) and remove that date when you want to show it again... (that makes it visible for Administrators and users with page edit permissions, but hides it for everyone else). Or delete it and get it back from the recycle bin when you want to display it again. Or set a (future) start date, then it will be displayed from that date onwards (if you already know when you want to display it again).

You're welcome.

Just one word to the option with the recycle bin: There is no way to edit the module when it is in the recycle bin, and if someone clears the recycle bin, the module is lost forever.

Therefore the two other options seem to be more reasonable...
