Not sure the best forum to put this in but maybe my answer is a simple one

User get's to a page like easyDNN news teaser page with mixed permissions when logging in gets sent back to home page after logging in

I'm not sure if this is default behaviour for logging in on any page that the user is sent to home page or not as this is a new (to me) problem.

Probably using the Azure B2C ad login is also giving me issues though it says that default DNN behaviour will happen if a redirect url isn't provided (it isn't).

Hi Joshua, leave the ReturnURL blank in the provider configuration, and check that in the site settings the Redirect After Login page is empty. That should do what desired that is the default behavior. If it is not working, check those settings in the PortalSettings table in the database, not the first time I see a mismatch between what the UI is showing and the database when seeing the site settings.

Ahh provider is not under our control and it seems redirectURL mismatch is happening when I leave it blank.

I got them to add https://www.site.org/login in the settings of the redirect in the provider and secured pages and login is working fine but only when the whole page is secured.

So is it true that there can't be any settings for redirectURL in the provider B2C config (and is this something that is ok to set up for a client?)
