Suddenly the Module Settings and Edit controls not showing in the Brave browser.

I know it is specific to that Browser as they show up in Chrome. I am not sure how to report this issue to the developers so I am looking for advice as to the technical name for these controls to use in raising the issue.

You might want to open an issue in GitHub. There you can also state which browser(s) are affected.

But this might be a Brave issue, as it is based on Chromium and Chrome works. Maybe it handles the popups as ads and blocks them. Try to turn off popups on the site - does it work then?

No, afaik. Only for Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Edge.

But: Edge and Chrome are based on Chromium, and so is Brave. When something works in Chrome (and propably Edge), and not in Brave, my suspect is that it is Brave that causes the issue.

The (main) difference in Brave is the built-in ad blocker, therefore I guess (but it is only a shot in the dark) that Brave interprets the modal popups (ie IFrames, technically) as ads and blocks them. Turning off the popups could give an answer...

I have observed that if I switched off the Shields in Brave the controls appear.

This is the only site on which I have observed this behaviour; it is my only site at version 9.12.0. I have reported it to Brave developers.

Any website that you open up in Brave gives you the same error? It that's the case, maybe you want to submit a ticket with them https://support.brave.com...quests/new
