We are facing this issue in production enviroment only, while the page is in edit mode it reverts back to it's default settings, page layout as well as modules added do not show up. But once out of edit mode both new layout and modules show up.

i have checked error logs and no errors were recorded under there.

Any suggestions?

Which DNN version?
Maybe something to do with cache configuration? Be sure of disabling it for authenticated users.

We are using DNN version 9.3.1 9.3.1

Also, it is not feasible to disable cache for all auth users, is there any alternate solution?

Thanks in advance!

unfortunately, you may solve caching issues only by disabling caching.

That is really weird. Do you know if it's DNN cache or browser cache?
(try clearing the browser cache when you see the issue and see if it goes away)

It's definitely not browser cache. I checked.

Could this be an issue if multiple admin accounts are logged in at the same time and making chnages to pages..?

usually editing page content should not affect page settings and permissions.

In general, caching by DNN is only something that impacts those who can edit the website. When in edit mode (clicking the pencil icon in DNN 9.xx+) will show you the page in question without cache. When not in edit mode, you'll often see the page how others will see it, but there are many things that could impact that - namely the extensions in use on that specific page.

Beyond that, browser cache can be a problem (but you say you checked that), as well as caching that may be done by your CDN (if you're using one). If you are using a CDN, try adjusting the cache settings there too.
