Password Reset email

My website is set to use secure https but when I use the passwrod reset the email I get comes as http and does not work properly. Any ideas what I'm missing why this is coming over as http and not https.??? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nevermind! Found it in the Global resource file hard coded as http.

You should document this on the issues page (https://github.com/dnnsof...Dnn.Platform/issues) if this is a resource file delivered with the DNN installation...

It would also be helpful to others in the community to let us know the specific resource file and key you used to update this.  That will help anyone finding this thread on Google to perform similar updates.  :)

DNN Version 8.0.3

The file with the hard coded "http" protocol value was the App_GlobalResources/GlobalResources.resx file.

There were three keys that needed to be changed:

  1. EMAIL_PASSWORD_REMINDER_BODY
  2. EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_VERIFIED_BODY
  3. EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PUBLIC_BODY

I changed mine to https but theoretically you should be able to remove the protocol all together and leave the link start with "//"
