When a user resets their password and enters a password that does not meet our policy the error message that is "poped-up" displays the Regular Expression that is used (means nothing to the user).
What can be done for the Regular Expression to not be displayed. Its meaningless to the users and will cause them to ask our support about it.
We are currently on 9.1.2, we just upgraded to this version less than 8 weeks ago.
Thanks
Hm... it is coming from a resource file (/App_GlobalResources/Webcontrols.resx) as far as I can see.
What you can do is to set the key CriteriaValidationExpression.Text to an empty string in the language editor (don't use the Global mode option as this will be overwritten with the next update! "Host" or "Site" is OK).
But most propably this will be used in other places as well (and these places could be of interest for an admin or host user), so be aware of that.
Happy DNNing! Michael

Thanks.
Just in case it helps, I've made a video that shows you how to edit the language files from within DNN.
