My purpose to introducing an expiring date was to disable the site, for the moment I need for the site to be inaccessible and to be no longer displayed in searches.

I've read on a diferent forum that adding an expiring date was a good method, what would be a good solution for my problem?

Best regards,
José Nobre

Either you disable the site in IIS Manager or you use a file called app_offline.htm in the root of your website.

See https://learn.microsoft.c...?view=aspnetcore-7.0 or https://www.c-sharpcorner...htm-file-in-Asp-Net/ for more information.

Happy DNNing!

Congrats on posting!

If this is a multi-site installation, you can also opt to use the redirectRules in your web.config to report a HTTP 404 for any request to the domain, until you're ready to get rid of it.
