I'd like to prevent sending email about user registration to users who are logged in (and registered) using our own OAuth / Azure AD registration code which adds the user to DNN. We haven't been able to figure out which part of the DNN code sends the email about user registration. Can you clarify this?

Code snippets we use:

  • base.AuthenticateUser (OAuthClientBase)
  • base.UpdateUser (AspNetMembershipProvider)

Most users log in using the standard DNN login and when such a user is registered, they should really get this registration email, but not users who log in using the Azure AD.

Thanks.
