Congrats on posting!

I have installed the Telerik dependencies identifyer module.

It has highlighted a few dependencies on Telerik and most have been removed, all apart from one:

I still have this remaining -

  • DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider.dll

I can see that radeditor is refernced in the webconfig, I suppose I can safely just coment that out but the

DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider.dll file is inside the bin directory - I guess its not just as simple as deleting this file?

You first need to install the CKeditor if not already in place.
Then switch to CK editor as your default HTML editor.
Then uninstall the Radeditor (like uninstalling any other extension)
Then verify the web.config and uncomment the lines referring Radeditor.

The entire effort is on https://docs.dnncommunity...k-removal/index.html

Congrats on posting!

I already have my default editor as DNNConnect.CKE other options are CKHtmlEditorProvider and the RadEditorProvider.

When i go to extensions - RadEditor is not there to remove so I don't know how to uninstall it. I did previously have DNN Rad tag cloud in the list and deleted that from extensions area.

The DNNConnectCKeditor is the correct one.
Uninstalling is same as extensions but you have to select 'providers'. That will show DNN Connect CKEditor Provider and also the Radeditor
