Site Create Error - Invalid Settings

Just for future reference

I had a similar case, I got the error "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)"

I had other older DNN portal template files, that are incompatible with the portal creation function of version 9.11.2 and up (at least). Removing these templates solved the issue.
