We need to get Spell Check As You Type (SCAYT) working in CK Editor.  I have tried everything I've found from searching via Google, but nothing has worked.

Does anyone have SCAYT working in DNN 9.4.4 or 9.5.0?  If so, what did you do to get it working?

We also have major performance issues with CK Editor when browsing the server to add images.  This is a very large site with thousands of images in deeply nested directories.

I wish we could switch back to RadEditor.  It was not flawless, but it worked much better for the requirements of this site.

I can't help you with SCAYT, but mostly it's not a DNN  issue, but a CKEditor config issue if a CKEditor plugin does not work.

For the second part, I would create an issue for it with your usage data (nr. of folders / files etc).
Rad editor was in the last version included with DNN full of security issues (very serious ones) which is why the switch to ckeditor was made. But I do agree the performance for folders with loads of files is not optimal.

Following up: I was able to get SCAYT working on other sites, but not the important one, which is very large and started with DNN 6.0. I worked directly with support at webspellchecker and we still could not get it working on this site.

However, we switched to their WProofReader solution, and that is working well.

I don't know where the size/complexity of the site, or if it being upgraded (many times) from an older version of DNN is the problem, but we found a solution using a different product.
