Hello

I need to edit the footer section of my custom theme/skin on a live DNN 09.10.01 site.  I have accessed the site via FTP and searched through the folders but I can't find the path to my custom theme.

Please advise.

Thank you.

check out subfolder with theme name inside folders
/portals/_defalt/skin and /portals/_default/container
or /portals/0/skin and /portals/0/container

Thanks Sabastian,

I have clicked on every folder and I have not found any subfolders, containing my theme name. Below is the nearest I got:
website/admin/portal/ - no subfolders
website/admin/skins/ - no subfolders
website/admin/containers/ - no subfolders

Congrats on posting!
/Portals/_default/Skins/ is the correct path
So, do not use the /admin

In addition to Tycho, the path could also be /Portals/x/Skins where x is your Portal ID (normally 0, if you have only one portal installed).

Happy DNNing!

I have access to the files and folders my website via FTP and the only folder named 'Portal' available is located:

The only folders I have available inside the Website folder are just 10 folders (see below)

DesktopModules
covid
controls

config
Components
bin
App_GlobalResources
App_Data
App_Browsers

It looks like I have several folders missing, from Documents to Resources (including Portal) yet the website is working without issue, how could this be?

most likely, your FTP client is limiting the number of items listed or it is missing permission for all folders.

Oh thank you Sebastian, I didn't know the FTP client would limit the number of items it shows.
