We were using the reservations module from the dnn store for a while, but now need an alternative.  Unfortunately, I am not having any luck finding something that does what this module did.  Primarily the ability to create 15 minute appointment slots within a specified timeframe, which can vary depending on the day of the week.  Any suggestions?

hi, just wondering if you found a suitable booking system? Did you try the one suggested above?

we are in the same predicament - our reservation modue is no longer supported (i suspect you are reffering to the same supplier - DNN Specialists).

Anyhow, I have been looking on the DNN Store and there seems to be a shortage of booking systems for simple appointments. Most seem to be ecommerce modules that need a lot of customising and may still be unsuitable.

We ended up working with smith-consulting since we had a licensed version already in use for an equipment reservation system.  We did need them do some custom programming to more closely match how the reservations module worked.

This required both the razorcart and booking modules:
RazorCart | Online Store Website (smith-consulting.com)
DNN Booking Module | DNN Event Booking | Appointments | Reservations | Rentals (smith-consulting.com)

Depending on what you're using for appointments, you may not need a module.  If you're using other systems to help with this process, chances are you might be able to copy and paste in their widget to embed the calendar/schedule feature on your website.  For example, this is what we use, in conjunction with a CRM to help us keep in touch with current and prospective clients.  We just copied and then embedded the CRM widget.

Congrats on posting!

in the end we found a module called Event Planner from NA Development.

It needed a lot of customising to make it work how we wanted it to work because the original module had a cost for events and we needed remove all references to currency and modify a lot of the language to suit our requirements.

We just needed it for booking personal appointments on a calendar.

an example of our calendar can be found here if anyone is interested: www.sypensions.org.uk/Contact/Appoi...ons.org.uk

NA Development's module is a really good one.  And, the folks at NA Development are great members of our ecosystem.

I really appreciate the ability to create templates for data display, including razor.

A few years ago I created a site that needed to display event data in a way that really wasn't supported by the module.  I was able to do this using 2sxc, another favorite module, to get event data from the Event Planner module.  You can read about how I did it here: https://dnncommunity.org/...c-with-Other-Modules

We've setup DNN instances for client projects where they have needed things such as:
- Booking and Appointment with reminders, cell notifications, cancellation options
- Booking and payment for a reservation
- Booking for room/rental and payment
- Reservation of meeting rooms, equipment etc with calendar list view and single-use of resource booking
- Scheduling time for tours and meetings

Reach out if you'd like to see examples.

One of the best tools we've used is this one that was a 3rd party paid module, then became free open source and was updated by Gafware:

Will, that link it's not working. This is the one about the event planner https://www.nadevelopment...odules/event-planner (which BTW, I already bookmarked!) This is what I love about the Forums, everyday you get to find gems like this one!
