Hi everyone,

We're facing an issue while uploading an extension on our Azure-hosted DNN portal "letsmove.biz". During the upload process, we encounter the following error (please find the attached log file for more details).

Note:

The same extension uploads and works correctly on our other Azure DNN portals.
This issue appears to be specific to the "letsmove.biz" portal.

Could anyone help us understand why this might be happening or suggest a possible solution?

We’d appreciate it if someone could connect with us or guide us through chat if that’s an option.

Firstly post the relative error message in your "Admin Log", available from the persona bar.

Second check the file extensions under "security>more".

- Check the file system has the correct permissions for the AppPool.
- If you cannot find the problem, I often verify problems by restoring the installation on my local PC and testing there. If it works there it's probably a secure issue on the server, if not it gives you a platform to try different things and even debug if you need to.

OK, that is the install log, so you are doing this from the normal DNN install process. So the Sure file type is usually ignore on that.
It looks like the "*.resx" file has failed. This is strange, I would not expect that unless the module manifest/package is invalid or corrupt. i.e. missing a resx file.

Maybe the file permissions on the server are the problem. I'm not an expert and Azure AppService. Can you check file permissions?

What version of DNN is this?

Have you got any error message on the "Admin Log".... on the persona bar under "Manage>Admin Logs".
