I'm not aware of anything built in. For the most part, I think this would be a job for your theme's stylesheets.

That's functionality of the Theme as you cannot predict what should be hidden and what not.
(IMO you cannot automate this, as every theme is different)
You can add a print.css to your Theme if needed.
What theme are you using?

You need to add some css code for printing friendly pages of the theme on your site.

As for how to do that, please refer to the instruction in the following page:
