Xcillion 2 on DNN store

    If anyone else has tried the Xcillion 2 theme from store.dnnsoftware.com (by dnnconsulting), have you also had the issue "This theme has no containers"?  This occurs when selecting the theme for a page.

    I think it's caused by a typo in the install package's "Xcillion2.0.dnn" manifest - the resource file's BasePath is set to "portals/_default/skins/Xcillio2.0" instead of "portals/_default/skins/Xcillion2.0". Once this is corrected, the error message goes away.

      Did not experience this but...good catch :-)
      Good to know: in DNN 9.5 on the roadmap is to update the theme and include the latest Bootstrap version.

        Hello,

        I upgraded to DNN 9.5, and Under Extensions it says I have Xcillion 9.5 installed.

        However, when I download Portals/_default/Skins/Xcillion/Bootstrap/js/bootstrap.min.js it still says it is Version 3 in the metadata. 
        How would I know that my site is updated to Bootstrap 4.0?

        Will this not happen automatically?

          Hi all,

          I'm also seeing Xcillion as Bootstrap 3 (after upgrading to 9.6.0). Besides that, in Extensions I see that Xcillion has a 10.0.0 upgrade available. If I click that link I get an error:

          Upgrade Details Unknown

          The extension you have selected has an upgrade available, however, the vendor has not informed the upgrade service of the suggested location to acquire the upgrade for the component. Please contact the vendor for assistance.

          DNN Platform Update Service Version 1.0.11

          I know there are plans to upgrade Xcillion to BS 4 but I've not been able to know when will it be included in DNN Platform, os if it'll be released as a separate extension.
