there are so many errors and pitfalls trying to upgrade a DNN site.

is there any way to create a totally new site, then export/import pages and modules from the old site to the new site.?

ive been dealing with DNN for 15 years and this is always difficult.

my current site is very bare bones and going from 9.1.1 to 9.3.2 before going to 9.5

uses 4 DNNSharp modules and gravity skin.

fails everytime at 68% persona bar error.

just trying to see if an alternate method of upgrading has been tried

thanks

Michael,

there were some issues with DNN Sharp modules recently, so please make sure to update them to the most recent version as well before going to 9.5 (or 9.6).

Happy DNNing!
Michael

BTW in my experience most "errors and pitfalls" are caused by third party components or non standard configurations of DNN
