Upgrading from version 9.1.02 from 9.06.02

54% ERROR occured - Installing Library - Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform_net46_02.00.01_Install.resource

any ideas on how to fix?

Did you go directly from 9.1.2 to 9.6.2? If so, check the suggestedupgrade path, https://docs.dnncommunity...ade-path/index.html.

Read all of the notes, and it may make sense to read the release notes for the versions that are recommended to skip, just so that you don't miss anything.

In addition to what Joe said: DNN 9.4.0 introduced a minimum requirement of ASP.NET 4.7.2 - I see something with "net46" in your errormessage, maybe this is the reason.

And yes, you should always follow the suggested upgrade path.
