Since upgrading to 9.5 from 9.0 I get these 4 errors and my project will no longer build. Any ideas?

Error        Unknown server tag 'dnn:Label'.       \webupload.ascx   <-- This error 3 times!
Error        Unknown server tag 'dnn:DnnScriptBlock'.      \filepickeruploader.ascx    32

Jamie,

did you upgrade directly from 9.0 to 9.5? According to the DNN Platform Suggested Upgrade Path there should be at least one step (9.3.2), maybe two (9.1.1 and 9.3.2) in between.

Otherwise: .Net Framework 4.7.2 (or higher) is required, did you check that?

I have these errors in the VS markup (not in the code behind, there is no problem) for a long time, and also IntelliSense does not work for these controls, but the project(s) always compile and run fine. Have not found a way to get rid of this.

Thanks Michael,
Edited this post as I managed to get rid of some of the errors, I am however still getting this and not sure what I need to update:

I am now on 9.2.0, just working my way through the updates attempting to get them to build.

Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Admin.Modules.ModuleLocalization'.        admin\Modules\ModuleLocalization.ascx

Jamie,

a common reason for errors like this is that the ZIP file was not unblocked before applying the update to the site. Have you done this?
