As administrator under Settings > Security > More security settings > Allowable File Extensions:

I tried to add "JPG" as file extension but that was automatically changed to "jpg" and had no effect.

"Sync this folder and subfolders" is a recursive sync.
It shouldn't make a difference, whether file extension is uppercase or lowercase.
Which version of CKEditor are you using

I checked in DNN 94.2, but there is a different error displayed ( "Method not found: 'System.String DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.FriendlyUrl(DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabInfo, System.String, DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalSettings)'"), which has already been reported and will be fixed in DNN 9.4.3

I am using version 1.0.7 of the dnn connect ckeditor provider.

describes a similar problem, but I am not sure it is quite the same problem.

sounds, like the issue has been verified, but still needs to be fixed.

Sebastian,
The problem I have where only image files with lowercase extension can be "seen" when browsing from the html editor, needs to be fixed in a future update of DNN.
I have not understood how I can "report" that, so the more skilled people in the Community can fix it. Can you explain?

I have another site in DNN version 9.3.2 which is using ckeditor version 1.0.5 and in this site I have no problems at all.

If you want to report an issue, please log it at https://github.com/dnnsof...Dnn.Platform/issues.
there have been modifications in both, the editor provider and DNN Platform.
