I am ready to upgrade our production  site from DNN 9.3.2 to 9.4.1 (which is what I understand to be the latest stable version of DNN).

Just wanted to check what I should look out for when doing so (I do plan to test first on a test server, and back up the files and database when upgrading production).

Is DNN 9.4.1 indeed the latest stable version?

Are these any other patches or known issues I should look out for when upgrading?

Can I go directly from DNN 9.3.2 to 9.4.1 , or should I follow a path?

Thanks very much for any information!

      Tom,

the latest stable version is 9.4.4 afaik. I had no problem upgrading from 9.3.2 to 9.4.4, but better test to make sure all your (3rd party) extensions will work.

      Happy DNNing!

We are having issues with DNNSharp ActionForm... Cannot add pages and clear cache...

Anyone else tried DNN 9.4.4 with ActionForm

Have you asked DNNSharp this question?

Through ActionForm I cannot use the Persona Bar anymore in 9.4.4. DNNSharp knows this problem but they are not able to fix it. There modules cannot work with DNN 9.4.x

              Thanks for all your replies.
Are the Action Form problems present in DNN 9.4.1 ? Or just 9.4.4?

              Thanks again

It's a DNNSharp issue, so I'd suggest that's the right place to ask it. Among other things, their answer should be authoritative.

Contacted DNNSharp with this issue and they can't fix it right away

Our plan is to address it sometimes in March or April after we've managed to bring additional revenue. Sorry about this situation. I'll keep you posted if anything changes in between.

I got an answer stating that they expect to have it fixed by the end of January, do Q&A testing and expect to release early february. Which is also very late as their modules don't work in any of the 9.4 versions. And as the #1 vendor, it means that most sites can not upgrade and face security issues.
Underlying problem is the dependency injection which they have chosen a different approach long time ago than DNN did for 9.4. So, they have to rewrite code for their entire suite.
