Links to dnndocs Started By Michael Tobisch Hi all, someone should take care about the links to dnndocs.com, as many of them seem to be dead. Example: https://dnncommunity.org/About-DNN/Out-of-the-Box has a link to https://dnndocs.com/content/features/privacy/data-consent/index.html (in the GDPR section) that leads to nowhere (or to a 404 page, to be correct). https redirect not fully working on this site ? Started By Declan Ward Is there a problem with http redirects to https on this site I entered dnncommunity.org in the address bar, no http or https, and http was returned. My firwall then decided it didn't like what it received and blocked it. Entering https://dnncommunity.ord works as expected. Observations on (this) dnncommunity.org website Started By James Brown - Empulse (1 2 ) I have seen a lot of work and effort into each recent DNN release. A core of dedicated folk have worked very hrd to inprove our beloved product. Thee are obvious problems though, The management of the forums seems to have been neglected and there are broken links on the web pages, which will probably not inspire confidence in others who may want to explore or employ DNN. Code tags in the forum Started By Olly Hodgson So I just replied to https://dnncommunity.org/forums/aft/8332962. Apparently I got the code tags wrong, because now everything past hafway through my post is in monospaced text! Anyway - the code tag button is present in the quick reply box at the bottom of a forum thread, but not in the full edit box (the one I'm typing into now - CKEditor I think). Would like to help out with the DNN community. Started By Alex Day I have been using DNN for a long time. I have lived with people rolling their eyes when I tell them I use DNN and not Wordpress. I have watched the community dwindle and the stats of websites using DNN go down. I am excited that it appears there is a new day dawning for the community version of DNN. Could anyone provide some information on key areas where help is needed for someone who is NOT a software developer Let me know! Password expiry Started By Stefan Kamphuis (40F) Hi there, Just now I figured to have a look at thies eforums again. Didn't get to that for a while. When I wanted to log in and got a message my password had expired. Seriously Expire passwords on a community website I think that's an awesome way to get rid of your users, to bew honest. Obviously I undserstand the decision from a security point of view, but it's not like we have sensitive private information on here. So we could easily leave that responsibility with the user.
