DNN Security issues Started By mariorossi4316 Hi everyone, first post. In the past few months we had some security troubles with our DNN installation, versions 09.04.00 and the current 09.05.00. Hackers managed to write some html code ( hidden links to xxx sites, for SEO porposes, i think ) in some of the files. One time in the skin .ascx, then in a script in the header, and so on. Page Creation After Deletion Started By John Svoboda All, I am not a DNN newbie but I have come accross an issue I can't solve. I deleted a page called Dealer, went into the Recycle Bin and cleared it out. When I try to create a new page called Dealer, I get a pop-up telling me there is already a Page with that name with the same URL path. I assume this is a bug of some kind. Giving Permissions to add module Started By andyy I noticed that only Administrator and Host accounts are able to add modules to page. Even though i have given the permissions for a role to view and edit the page, they are not able to add new modules to the page. Encrypted is obsolete Started By Declan Ward I have an instance of a customer site running on my dev machine, Windows 10 with IIS 10. The site is using Encrypted passwords. (Yes, I know this needs to change!) I am attempting to run a copy of this site on Windows Server 2008 R2. When I try accessing the site I get a 500 Server Error.
