Hi!

I saw this question pop up multiple times without any real solution for those wanting the display name hyperlink to point directly to the page where users can change their profile instead of the page displaying the profile. The default configuration of having it point to a page displaying the profile is probably better if you have a portal where users can "see" and interact with each other, but with our portal this is not the case.

I created this replacement User.Ascx file that you can copy into the admin\skins folder after backing up the original version in case something goes wrong. It is supposed to support localization properly and uses the corresponding configured registration page.

A better solution is probably to patch it in the source code's CS file and recompile the DLL, but I was too lazy to do that. :)
