Error In DNN site

Hi All,

I have DNN 9.11.0 version installed. I am developing Web API which have DLL “System.Net.HTTP.Formatting” added as reference. I changed the build path of this web api to DNN site bin folder “C:\Websites\dnndev.me\bin” and have started getting error as shown below. Can any one please help me on this?

Error Message

Could not load file or assembly 'System.Net.Http.Formatting' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Net.Http.Formatting, Version=5.2.9.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35 or one of its dependencies

My first check would be the version number. If you updated the DLL and created 5.2.9.1, for instance, the webconfig is looking for a file that no longer exists.
Solution: update the webconfig to the correct version number.

Hi Tycho,

Thanks for the help. I have reverted Package for System.Net.HTTP.Formatting to 5.2.9 and its working fine now.
