Hi all,
I should like to know if jquery library are built in the application or if DNN take the libraries from somewhere while it works (for example from Google LLC). My site use DNN 9.1.1
Thank you for the answer
jQuery is delivered with DNN - you find it under (Webroot)\Resources\Libraries. This might not be the newest version, atm (DNN 9.11.0) it's 3.5.1 (jQuery), 3.4.0 (jQuery Migrate) and 1.13.2 (jQuery UI).
Anyway, you have the option to get it from an external source. See Using a Different Version of jQuery via CDN – DNN Corp. Customer Support (dnnsoftware.com) for more information. Beware, there are certain risks for stability if you use a different jQuery version than the one that is delivered with DNN.
Happy DNNing! Michael
PS DNN 9.1.1 is quite old, you should upgrade to the newest version to avoid security issues.

Michael's note on this is very important. There have not only been a ton of updates that will help with usability, performance, etc., but the security perspective cannot be overstated. Upgrading to a more current version is very important to protect your website.
Thank you all for your input. I'm new (as of today) to DNN and have been trying to figure out how to update jQuery to 3.6.3. Knowing that 3.5.1 is the highest DNN provides and the best route to upgrade is a CDN has been a great help. Thanks again!
