Hi All,

I am new to DNN, just installed it today. In "Activity Feed" page i have noticed there are 4 privacy levels namely :

  1. Every One
  2. Community Members
  3. Friends
  4. Private

Can any one please let me know the purpose of "Community Members" privacy level.

Regards

If I remember correctly, that equates to:

  1. Every One - public to all, including anonymous visitors.
  2. Community Members - available only to registered end users, requiring authentication.
  3. Friends - available to only community members that have been marked as a friend.
  4. Private - available to no other user account.

Hi Will,

I your above comment you have said

Every One - public to all, including anonymous visitors.

What exactly you meant by anonymous visitor? Did you mean not logged in user?

Yes. Anyone not logged in is not known, and therefore are anonymous. 😉
